  • Basic Requirement : The required educational qualification to appear for the Senior Secondary Level CET is "Senior Secondary (Class 12th) or its equivalent".

  • Appearing Candidates : Candidates who are currently enrolled in or appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination (Senior Secondary) are eligible to apply, provided they acquire the required educational qualification in accordance with the provisions of the respective departmental service rules.

How to Apply?

  • Step 4 : Complete One Time Registration (OTR) : Click on "Apply Now", and if not already done, complete the OTR by entering your category, disability status, home state, and paying the required fee.

  • Step 5 : Verify Personal Details : Ensure your OTR details (category, disability status, home state) are accurate as they will be pre-filled in the application form.

  • Step 6 : Fill Application Form : Enter all required information, including a mandatory visible body mark, and verify your educational qualifications under the OTR dashboard's ODV section.

  • Step 7 : Upload Documents & Photos : Capture a live photograph following the guidelines, and upload scanned copies of your signature, thumb impression, and necessary qualification documents.

  • Step 8 : Finalize and Submit : Review the entire application form thoroughly before final submission, as key details cannot be changed later.

  • Step 9 : Save Application Receipt : Print and securely save a copy of the final submitted online application form for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Stage 1 : Common Eligibility Test (CET) Examination : Candidates must first appear for and qualify the CET (Senior Secondary Level) written examination, which consists of multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 240 marks for a duration of 2.5 hours.

  • Stage 2 : Minimum Qualifying Marks : Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in the CET to be eligible for selection in the main exams, with a 5% relaxation applicable to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).

  • Stage 3 : Validity of CET Score : The CET score remains valid for a period of three years from the date of the result announcement.

  • Stage 4 : Main Recruitment Examination : Based on the valid CET score and category-wise vacancies, candidates will be shortlisted to apply for the separate main recruitment exams conducted individually by the respective service/recruitment agencies according to their service rules.

  • Stage 5 : Final Selection & Document Verification : Final selection is determined through the main recruitment examination (and/or interviews as per specific service rules), followed by document verification and eligibility checks by the recruiting authority.
