Complete Registration : Fill out the online registration form using your mobile number and email ID to receive the OTP and generate your login credentials. 5. Upload Documents : Upload your scanned passport-size photograph, signature, Class 10th certificate, degree certificates, marksheets, photo ID proof, and PAN card. 6. Pay Application Fee : Deposit the non-refundable registration fee online (Rs. 1000 plus applicable convenience/bank charges for General, OBC, and EWS candidates; no fee for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates). 7. Submit Application : Review all entered details carefully—as no changes are allowed after final submission—and submit your single application for your preferred stream. 8. Save Acknowledgment : Download, save, and print a copy of your ONGC Registration Slip and keep it safely along with your future admit card for reference.
Selection Process
Computer Based Test (CBT) : Candidates must appear for an objective-type online exam comprising four sections (Concerned Domain, General Awareness, Aptitude Test, and English Language) carrying a total of 85 marks with no negative marking. Personal Interview : Candidates are shortlisted based on their CBT scores in a 1:5 ratio, followed by a personal interview carrying a weightage of 15 marks. Medical Fitness Examination: Shortlisted candidates who successfully qualify in both the CBT and the interview must pass the medical fitness standards laid down under the ONGC Medical Examination of Employees Rules. Offer of Appointment : Final selection and issuance of the appointment offer are granted only to candidates who successfully clear all preceding stages, including the medical fitness test.
