Download/Access the Application : Print the application form provided in the advertisement on A-4 size paper. Fill the Application : Complete the form in English using CAPITAL (Block) letters with black or blue ink, ensuring no columns are left blank. Prepare Documents : Gather self-attested copies of your matriculation, 10+2, B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. mark-sheets and certificates, age proof (e.g., birth certificate/PAN/Passport), valid GATE score card, relevant category certificates for relaxation, NOC from current employer (if applicable), and an undertaking/discharge certificate (for ex-servicemen). Attach Photographs : Affix two recent passport-size colored photographs to the application, writing your name and Date of Birth on the back of the photos. Submit by Post : Place the application and all required documents in an envelope and send it via ORDINARY POST to : Post Bag No. 001, Lodhi Road Head Post Office, New Delhi-110003 by the closing date of 12 July, 2026.
Selection Process
Merit Ranking : All eligible applications are ranked based on their valid GATE scores (from 2024, 2025, or 2026) for each subject separately. Shortlisting : Candidates are shortlisted for an interview at a ratio of five times the number of vacancies based on their GATE merit. Interview : Shortlisted candidates are invited to an interview, which carries a maximum of 20 marks. Final Selection : Final selection is determined by a combination of the GATE score (maximum 100 marks) and the interview score (maximum 20 marks), contingent upon successful character/antecedent verification and a medical examination.
