How to Apply

• Visit the Portal  : Go to the official website https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

• Check Eligibility : Ensure you meet the age (15–24 years) and qualification (Matriculation + ITI) criteria before applying.

• Select Unit : Choose either "Nagpur Division" (Establishment Code: E05202702695) or "Motibagh Workshop" (Establishment Code: E05202702494).

• Enter Details Carefully : Fill in your 10th and ITI marks accurately; failure to show these in the downloaded file will lead to automatic rejection.  

• Special Categories : If the EWS/Ex-Servicemen option is unavailable on the portal, apply under your actual category and submit the certificate physically to the Divisional Personnel Office, Kingsway, Nagpur.

• Finalize Application : Submit the online application between 19 May, 2026 and 18 June, 2026 (23:59 hours).

• Save Registration : Note down the system-generated registration number for all future correspondence.

Selection Process

• Online Application : Interested candidates must submit their applications via the official website (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) between 19 May, 2026 and 18 June, 2026.

• Merit List Preparation : A merit list will be generated based on the aggregate percentage of marks in the matriculation examination (minimum 50%) and the ITI marks in the relevant trade.

• Tie-Breaking Criteria : In cases where two candidates have identical marks, the older candidate will be given preference; if the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation examination earlier will be considered first.

• Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates must appear for the verification of all original testimonials.

• Medical Examination : Candidates must be found physically fit in the appropriate medical examination conducted by the Railways to be eligible for final engagement.
