Eligibility Conditions

  • Nationality / Citizenship :

    • A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either: - 
    • (i) a Citizen of India or
    • (ii) a subject of Nepal or
    • (iii) a subject of Bhutan or
    • (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
    • (v) Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

  • Essential Educational Qualification

    • Administrative Officer – Generalists
      • The minimum Educational Qualification required is Graduate Degree/Post Graduate in any discipline, including but not limited to Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, Data Science, etc., from a recognized university and having secured a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD Category) in either of the degree examination.
    • Administrative Officer – Hindi Officers
Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD Category).

How to Apply?

  • Step 1 : Visit the Recruitment Section – Go to the official website of United India Insurance Company Ltd. (uiic.co.in) and click on the "APPLY ONLINE" option to launch the registration portal.
  • Step 2 : Complete New Registration – Choose the "Click here for New Registration" tab, enter your name, contact details, and email ID to generate a provisional registration number and password.
  • Step 3 : Fill Out Application Details – Use the "Save and Next" tab to save entered data, carefully fill out all personal and educational details in the application form, and validate them.
  • Step 4 : Upload Scanned Documents – Upload your recent passport-size photograph, signature in black ink (not in capital letters), left thumb impression, and the handwritten declaration in English strictly as per the specified dimensions and formats.
  • Step 5 : Preview and Verify Application – Click on the Preview Tab to thoroughly check the entire filled application form and ensure all uploaded images and details are accurate before final submission.
  • Step 6 : Finalize Registration – Click on the 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION' button after careful verification, noting that no modifications will be permitted after this step.
  • Step 7 : Pay Application Fees – Proceed to the payment tab, complete the online payment via the integrated gateway using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, or wallets, and save the generated e-receipt.

Selection Process

  • Online Registration & Application Submission : Candidates must register and apply online through the official UIICL website within the stipulated window.

  • Tier I : Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) : Eligible candidates appear for a 100-mark online objective test covering English Language, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.

  • Tier II : Main Examination (Online Objective Test) : Candidates shortlisted from the preliminary exam take the main objective test tailored to their chosen discipline (Generalists or Hindi Officers).

  • Tier II : Descriptive Test : Immediately following the objective paper, candidates complete an online descriptive test involving letter and essay writing (plus translation for Hindi Officers).

  • Shortlisting for Interview : Candidates who qualify in the objective sections and clear the sectional and overall cut-offs are shortlisted for the interview stage up to three times the category-wise vacancies.

  • Personal Interview : Shortlisted candidates participate in a face-to-face interview, evaluated on a 75:25 weightage split between the Main Examination and the Interview.

  • Biometric & Document Verification : Candidates undergo digital photo and thumb impression captures alongside comprehensive verification of original educational, category, and identity credentials.

  • Final Merit List & Medical Examination : A final merit list is compiled based on Main Exam and Interview scores, followed by a compulsory medical fitness check for provisional selection.
