• The SET certificate is valid for that particular State only. The validity of the certificate shall be forever. Recruitment to the post of lecturer/ Assistant Professor may be made from among the SET qualified candidates by Universities/colleges/ Recruitment Agencies as per their prescribed procedures, Rules & Regulations.

How to Apply?

• Official Website Visit : Navigate to Website - Go to the official University of Kota website at www.uok.ac.in or access the Rajasthan SSO portal directly at https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signin.

• Link Access : Select SET-2026 - Click on the SET-2026 link available on the university's homepage or log into your SSO account.

• Registration & Profile Creation : Complete Registration - Register on the portal by entering basic details or completing the One Time Registration (OTR) e-KYC process using your identity credentials.

• Form Completion : Fill Application Form - Enter all accurate personal, academic, and post-graduation subject details into the pre-filled or blank online application form.

• Document Uploads : Upload Documents - Attach scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and necessary academic or category certificates.

• Fee Payment : Pay Examination Fee - Submit the required application fee online according to your respective category (Rs. 1500/- for General/OBC Creamy Layer/Out of State; Rs. 1200/- for EWS/OBC Non-Creamy Layer; Rs. 750/- for SC/ST/PwD).

• Final Submission : Submit and Print - Review all filled details carefully, click the final submit button, and download or print a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Selection Process

• Application Process : Online Registration Candidates must apply online via the University of Kota website (www.uok.ac.in) or the Rajasthan SSO portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in).
• Educational Qualification : Master's Degree Verification Candidates must possess or be provisionally pursuing a Master's degree in their post-graduation subject with at least 55% marks for General/EWS or 50% for reserved categories.
• Written Examination : Objective Test Appearance Candidates must appear for a single-session, continuous 3-hour examination featuring Paper-I (teaching/research aptitude) and Paper-II (subject knowledge) comprising multiple-choice questions without any breaks.
• Scoring and Evaluation : Marking Scheme Processing Evaluators award 2 marks for every correct answer, apply zero negative marking for incorrect or unattempted responses, and calculate cumulative scores out of 300 total marks.
• Final Recruitment : Agency Appointment Qualified candidates receive a lifetime-valid state eligibility certificate, allowing them to apply directly for Assistant Professor positions through recruitment agencies and universities following their respective guidelines.
