One Time Registration (O.T.R.) : Complete O.T.R. and obtain your O.T.R. number from the commission's website (`[https://otr.pariksha.nic.in](https://otr.pariksha.nic.in)`) at least 72 hours before submitting your online application. Online Application (First Stage) : Visit the UPPSC website (`[https://uppsc.up.nic.in](https://uppsc.up.nic.in)`), click on "Apply" under the desired notification, authenticate using your O.T.R. number and OTP/password, and fill in your essential qualifications. Application Details (Second Stage) : Review your permanent and correspondence addresses fetched automatically from O.T.R., and select your options for any prescribed preferential qualifications on the Applicant Dashboard. Fee Deposition (Third Stage) : Proceed to the Fee Confirmation Window, pay the required application fee via SBI MOPS (Net Banking, Card Payments, or Other Payment Modes), and save the Payment Transaction Slip. Final Submission & Printing (Fourth Stage) : Submit your completed application form, download and print the final submitted application form, and keep it safe for future reference or presentation to the commission.
Selection Process
Written Examination : Candidates must appear for a written examination comprising Paper-I (General Hindi & General Studies/Main Subject) and Paper-II (Main Subject) held at various centers in Uttar Pradesh. Interview (Viva-Voce) : Only candidates who are declared successful in the written exam (called in a ratio of three times the number of vacancies) are eligible to appear for the interview and original document verification. Final Merit & Selection : Final selection and merit are determined based on the total marks obtained by candidates in both the written examination and the interview.
