How to Apply
Visit the Official Website : Go to pstet2025.org. Registration : Click on the "Online Application for PSTET 2025-26" link to create a new registration, generating a Registration ID and Password. Fill Application Form : Log in with the credentials to fill in personal, academic, and communication details. Upload Documents : Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card or net banking. General/OBC : ₹1100 (One Paper), ₹2200 (Both Papers). SC/ST/Differently Abled : ₹550 (One Paper), ₹1100 (Both Papers). Submission : Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
Selection Process
Application Process : Candidates must apply online, pay fees (for Gen/OBC per paper, for SC/ST/PH), and upload documents. Exam Structure : The exam comprises two papers, each with 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 150 marks, lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes. Eligibility Requirements: Paper I (Classes I-V) : Senior Secondary (50%+) with 2-year D.El.Ed, or 4-year B.El.Ed. Paper II (Classes VI-VIII) : Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed, or 50% marks with 1-year B.Ed. Qualifying Marks : General category needs 60% (90 marks), while SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates have a 5% relaxation, requiring 55% (82-83 marks). Validity : The PSTET certificate is valid for a lifetime.
