US Iran war latest news | Donald Trump warns Iran of possible attack, says US could finish the job

US President Donald Trump has warned Iran of a possible military strike, saying the United States could "finish the job" while refusing to reveal the timing of any potential attack. Trump has also asserted that Washington would win either way, while keeping the door open for a diplomatic agreement with Tehran.

Well, the US President Donald Trump has warned Iran of a possible attack. That's right, the US President Donald Trump has issued a statement and said in our court that US could finish the job. Trump said that he will not reveal the strike timing. He says that US will win either way. Trump says that Iran deal is still possible. So we are in fact hearing from the US President Donald Trump who has warned Iran in the latest of a possible attack. Now Trump says that US could finish the job. He's even gone on to say that he would not reveal strike timing but says that US will win the war he's even gone on to say that Iran deal is still a possibility let's also listen in to what the US president had to say well we're thinking about doing it and maybe tomorrow do you really think I'm going to tell you if I'm going to do it and there's a possibility I will there's also a possibility we'll have a nice big beautiful agreement that is a very they want to make a deal but the problem is will they hold the deal Alright, my colleague Pradeep is with us on the broadcast. Pradeep, that's an important statement coming in from the US President, Donald Trump. You know, help us understand, because we also know that the midterm polls are just a couple of weeks away. Do you essentially view this as a pressure tactic or an actual crucial statement coming in from the US President? Rita, you have to understand one thing that whatever statement is coming from Donald Trump's side, mostly these statements are not aimed at Iran. These are meant for the domestic audience because elections are around the corner and the midterm poll will be held. So that's one of the reasons. So one, Donald Trump is trying to convey a message that they are the one who are calling the shots so far as war against Iran is concerned. They are the one who are dominating the scene and then they still control the situation there on the ground because people had been asking them questions back home that what was the of US fighting somebody else's war. They were totally opposed to this unpopular war. And so that's one of the reasons that you must have seen during the last one month, not a single occasion, the US has struck Iran. One thing that they want to avoid any direct confrontation till the midterm poll over. And the second, they're also trying to convey a message that they will make Iran come on knees. And that's why the statement is coming. Either it can be war, either they're going to hit them out or they are going to make them come on knees. Because some people You must be asking a question: why all of a sudden the U.S. is not hitting out at Iran, because we have seen it's only Houthi trying to target their allies, but U.S. is completely sitting silent, so they are trying to convey a message: they are, they want to strike a deal, they want to make Iran come on knees, and on their terms and conditions, they want Iran to finally agree. Right, Pradeep, like you rightly mentioned, the war of rhetoric from Washington still continues. Thank you so much for joining us early this morning.
