Bigg Boss Tamil 10: Ramya Krishnan replaces Vijay Sethupathi as the host, know details about her fees

Bigg Boss Tamil 10, originally hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, will see a new host, actress Ramya Krishnan. The makers shared a new promo featuring the grand entrance of Ramya as she takes over the stage.

The latest promo featured Ramya welcoming the viewers as she walks to the stage and says, “Welcome to Bigg Boss Season 10. Intha iravu 9:30 manikku.”

Ramya previously appeared as a guest host during Season 5, stepping in to handle the weekend episodes when regular host Kamal Haasan was unavailable. Her latest appearance has drawn attention, particularly after the makers-built anticipation around the identity of the season’s ‘Bigg Host’.

According to a report by BigTV Live, Ramya is reportedly being paid Rs 15 lakh per episode to host the show. However, the figure has not been independently verified and is based on reports circulating online.

While the promo confirms Ramya’s appearance, it has left viewers wondering about Vijay Sethupathi’s status.

As per reports, Vijay is likely to return to his hosting duties next week. However the makers have not announced whether she will host the upcoming episodes or whether Vijay will return to the stage.

Vijay has been associated with the show as host for the past three seasons.

Bigg Boss Tamil 10, also known as Bigg Boss: Carnivizha, airs on Vijay TV at 9.30 pm on weekdays and 9 pm on weekends. Viewers can also watch the show around the clock on JioHotstar.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Vijay Sethupathi was recently seen in Baththa, released on October 1. It will be available to stream on Netflix on October 29.

He will also be seen in Puri Jagannadh's next directorial, titled Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road, also starring Tabu and Samyuktha.
