Hi, nahi karunga kaam, bye: Millennial boss reads out honest Gen Z emails

When it comes to displaying traits like “being brutally honest” and "prioritising oneself”, Gen-Z truly never disappoints. Social media, by this point in time, has seen far too many instances where younger employees left the older generation speechless and even stunned– with their ‘to-the-point’ responses. This email streak by some Gen-Z employees was no different! A video was recently shared on social media, which was of a ‘Millennial’ manager reading out rather ‘honest’ emails she allegedly had received from her subordinates.

From “requesting a day off because vibes are off” to “taking a day off, not sick, not travelling, just tired" and from “nahi karunga kaam” to whatnot– you name it, and the mails were unhinged in every way possible!

The video was shared on Reddit by the handle ‘Aparna Upadhyay’. The post was shared a day ago and pulled more than 167K views from netizens.

“Hi Gurl, I haven't received my salary yet. What are you doing? touching some grass?” a user read. “I told my boss that he can't afford my expensive taste today, he pays me to work,” commented the next person.

"At least they aren't buttering you with lots of paragraphs and lies,” added another person. “One day I am going to get this courage! Amen,” added another person. “I told my employer that my brain is not working today,” recalled the next.

“This one time my manager told me I’m 3 min late so they will consider it a half day so I left the office and texted him to make it a day off,” added another. “I got a sick leave , saying it's a mental health day for me,” added another.
