How to Apply?

  • One Time Registration (OTR) : Visit the BPSC online portal at [https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in](https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in), click on the New User Registration button, and register using a valid email ID and active mobile number to create your unique OTR profile credentials.  

  • Digilocker Integration : Log into the Meri Pehchan portal through the OTR process to link your documents via Digilocker, or bypass this step by using your browser's back button to proceed directly to the application portal.

  • Profile Creation : Complete the six mandatory profile stages sequentially—Personal Information, Address Information, Other Information, Qualification Information, Experience Information, and Uploading Photo/Signature—then review and lock your profile.

  • New Application Submission : Navigate to the Active Advertisements section under the New Application tab, select the Auditor recruitment advertisement, check the criteria, and proceed to submit your details.

  • Fee Payment and Final Print : Complete the online examination fee payment (along with any applicable biometric fees) via the portal, and immediately download and print two copies of the completed application hard copy along with its barcode and application ID from the My Account tab.

Selection Process

  • 1. Preliminary Examination : Candidates must first appear for a 2-hour objective-type General Studies paper carrying 150 marks, which serves as a screening test to shortlist candidates based on mandatory category-wise qualifying thresholds.

  • 2. Main (Written) Examination : Shortlisted candidates from the prelims must apply separately to take the written exam consisting of three compulsory subjects (General Hindi, General Studies Paper I & II) and one chosen optional subject (Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics), each carrying 300 marks (except Hindi which is 100 marks).

  • 3. Interview (Viva-Voce) : Candidates who clear the written examination with the required minimum qualifying marks and fall within 2.5 times the total vacancies will be called for a 120-mark interview.

  • 4. Final Merit List : The ultimate selection and merit ranking are prepared by combining the marks secured in the main written examination and the interview, followed by document verification.
