• Step 5 : Fill Application Form : Log in with your registration credentials and accurately fill out all required personal, educational, and professional details in the online application form.

• Step 6 : Upload Documents : Upload the required scanned images of your photograph, signature, thumb impression, and supporting documents as per the specified format guidelines.

• Step 7 : Preview and Verify : Carefully review all entered details using the preview/print option before final submission, as no modifications are allowed after submitting.

• Step 8 : Pay Examination Fee : Submit the non-refundable processing fee along with the applicable application fee online through the payment gateway before 30 November, 2026 (17:00 Hrs).

• Step 9 : Save Confirmation Printout : Download and print the personalized registration confirmation form and application printout containing your application number for future reference.

Selection Process

• Step 1 : Computer Based Test (CBT) : Eligible candidates must appear for an objective-type Computer Based Test consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), which is conducted across various metropolitan cities (including New Delhi, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Kolkata).

• Step 2 : Meeting Qualifying Marks : Candidates must secure the prescribed minimum qualifying marks in the CBT (evaluated separately or combined across parts depending on the post category, such as 50% for UR and 40%–45% for reserved categories) to remain in contention.

• Step 3 : Shortlisting for Skill Test or Interview : Based on CBT performance, candidates are shortlisted in a ratio of 1:5 (with a minimum of 10 candidates) relative to the category-wise number of vacancies.

• Step 4 : Skill Test or Personal Interview :

  • For Administrative Officers, Accounts Officers, and Purchase & Stores Officers: Shortlisted candidates undergo a Personal Interview.   

  • For Junior Personal Assistants: Shortlisted candidates must pass a Stenography Skill Test (evaluated on transcription errors).

  • For Technical Assistants and Technicians 'B': Shortlisted candidates undergo a trade-specific Skill Test, which serves as a qualifying ('go/no-go') evaluation.

• Step 5 : Document Verification (DV) : Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification in S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) / Chandigarh to produce original certificates proving their educational qualifications, age, and category eligibility.

• Step 6 : Final Merit Ranking & Offer : Final selection and empanelment are determined by merit (based purely on CBT marks for technical/junior posts, or a 60:40 weightage of CBT and Interview for administrative officer posts), subject to successfully qualifying the respective skill test or interview.
