Selection Process

• Step 1 : Application Scrutiny & Shortlisting – Submitted online applications are initially screened based on the mandatory educational qualifications, age limits, and required post-qualification work experience criteria. Preference is typically given to local candidates residing in Mumbai.

• Step 2 : Document Verification – Candidates shortlisted through application screening are required to present original certificates, photo identity proofs, and supporting testimonials to verify their eligibility.

• Step 3 : Online Examination – Eligible and verified candidates appear for an objective-type computer-based online test comprising 100 questions carrying 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes (featuring a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer).

• Step 4 : Personal Interview – Candidates who successfully clear the online examination stage are invited to a face-to-face Personal Interview conducted at the IBPS office in Mumbai to assess technical expertise, professional knowledge, and communication skills.
