  • Make Necessary Edits : Modify any incorrectly filled details if needed, ensuring you 'submit' the application each time it is opened for editing before the application window closes.

  • Verify Submission Confirmation : Receive a confirmation dialog box upon successfully submitting your online application.

  • Print Application Copies : Print two copies of the system-generated application form containing your Roll Number after it becomes available 30 minutes post the closing of online applications.

  • Retain Reference Copy : Keep the second print copy of the online application safely with yourself for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Step 1 : Application — Submit your online application through the official Indian Army website within the specified window.

  • Step 2 : Shortlisting — Applications are screened, and candidates are shortlisted based on their JEE Mains Common Rank List (CRL) and cutoff percentages.

  • Step 3 : SSB Interview — Shortlisted candidates undergo a rigorous five-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview process consisting of Stage I and Stage II tests at designated selection centres.

  • Step 4 : Medical Examination — Candidates who are recommended after Stage II of the SSB interview undergo a thorough medical examination at the nearest Military Hospital.

  • Step 5 : Merit List — A final merit list is prepared strictly based on the marks obtained by candidates during the SSB interview.

  • Step 6 : Joining Letter — Medically fit candidates in the merit list are issued joining letters for pre-commission training based on the availability of vacancies.
