Educational Qualification & Skill Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Degree Requirement: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (B.A.), Science (B.Sc.), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

• Mandatory Subject: Must have passed the Matriculation examination with Hindi as one of the subjects.

Skill Requirements

• Shorthand & Transcription:

  • Must qualify the English Shorthand Test at a speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m.).

  • Must pass its transcription at a speed of 20 w.p.m. on a computer.

• Computer Proficiency: Must have proficiency in the operation of computers and qualify the prescribed Computer Proficiency Test.

How to Apply?

• Obtain Application Form : Download and print the application form from the District Courts, Nuh website ([http://districts.ecourts.gov.in/mewat](http://districts.ecourts.gov.in/mewat)) or use a plain paper format.

• Affix Photograph : Paste your latest one passport-size photograph on the top of the application form.

• Fill Required Particulars : Clearly write your name, father's/husband's name, date of birth, sex, educational qualifications, mandatory category of reservation (if any), mobile number, permanent and postal address, and experience (if any).

• Attach Documents : Enclose attested copies of relevant educational, category, and other supporting certificates.

• Route Through Proper Channel (If Applicable) : If working in any Government/Semi-Government department, Board, or Corporation, route your application through the proper channel.

• Address the Application : Address the application to "The District and Sessions Judge, Nuh" with a reference to the advertisement.

• Submit Before Deadline : Send the application either by registered post or deliver it by hand to the office of the District and Sessions Judge, Nuh, well before the last date of 25 November, 2026 up to 5:00 P.M.

Selection Process

• English Shorthand Test : Candidates must qualify the English shorthand test at a speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m.).

• Transcription Test : Candidates must transcribe the dictated shorthand passage on a computer at a speed of 20 w.p.m..

• Computer Proficiency Test : Candidates are required to qualify a prescribed test demonstrating proficiency in computer operations.

• Final Selection / Merit List : The selection is made strictly in accordance with Rule 7 of the Haryana Subordinate Courts Establishment (Recruitment and General Conditions of Service) Rules, 1997.
