Post Wise Essential Qualifications, Desirable Qualifications

1. Principal

• Age Limit : Minimum 35 years and Maximum 50 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized Institution/University.

  2. Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed.) with at least 50% marks from an NCTE Recognized Institution/University (or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or 4-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component).

  3. Experience criteria (any one of the following) :

     • Working as Principal in Pay Level 12 in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations.

     • Working as Vice-Principal for 3 years in Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500).

     • 12 years' regular service as PGT/Lecturer in Pay Level 8 (Rs. 47,600 - 1,51,100).

     • Combined service of 12 years as PGT (Entry Level 8) and Vice-Principal (Entry Level 10).

  4. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

• Desirable Qualifications : Working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.   

2. Vice-Principal

• Age Limit : Minimum 35 years and Maximum 45 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Master Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.

  2. Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed.) with at least 50% marks from an NCTE Recognized Institute/University (or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. / 4-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component).

  3. Experience criteria (any one of the following) :

     • Working as Vice Principal in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations in Pay Level 10.

     • Working as PGT or Lecturer in Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations in Pay Level 8 for at least 06 years.

  4. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

• Desirable Qualifications : Working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

3. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs - English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Commerce, Economics, History)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Integrated Post Graduate Course from an NCTE recognized Institution/University in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component; OR Master's Degree from a recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject.

  2. B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks (or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or 4-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component).

  3. Subject-specific Master’s requirement :

     • English : Master’s Degree in English.

     • Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Economics / History : Master's degree in the concerned subject or any specialization, provided it was also studied at the Graduation level.

     • Biology : Master’s degree in Biological Science/Life Science or specialization, provided it was studied at the Graduation level.

     • Commerce : Master's Degree in Commerce (Holders of M.Com. in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible).

• Desirable Qualifications : Experience as TGT in recognized institutions in the concerned subject, experience working in a school, knowledge of computer applications, and working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

4. Post Graduate Teacher (Computer Science)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) / MCA / M.E. or M.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks.

  2. B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks (or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. / 4-year integrated degree including B.Ed. component).

• Desirable Qualifications : Experience as TGT in recognized institutions, experience working in a school, and working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

5. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs - English, Hindi-Sanskrit, Marathi)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and aggregate including B.Ed. component; OR Bachelor/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, combination of subjects, and aggregate AND B.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks (or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., or 1-year B.Ed. Special Education from RCI, or Post-Graduation with 55% marks plus 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.).

  2. Qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-II) conducted by CBSE.

  3. Language-specific requirement : Must have studied the respective language (English / Hindi-Sanskrit / Marathi) as an Elective/Main subject in at least 3 years / 6 semesters of the course.

• Desirable Qualifications : Experience of working in a school, knowledge of computer applications, and working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

6. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs - Mathematics-Physics, Chemistry-Biology, Social Studies)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Four-year integrated degree course or Bachelor/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination and aggregate AND B.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks (or alternative qualifications like 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., 1-year B.Ed. Special Education, or relevant Post-Graduation with 55% marks plus 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.). 

  2. Qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-II) conducted by CBSE.

  3. Subject Combination Requirements :

     • Mathematics-Physics : Mathematics studied as elective/main for at least 3 years/6 semesters; Physics for at least 1 year/2 semesters; and at least one out of Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, or Statistics for 1 year/2 semesters (B.Sc. Hons. in Physics or Chemistry are not eligible).

     • Chemistry-Biology : Biology/Life Science/Botany/Zoology studied as Hons/Main subject for 3 years/6 semesters with specified subsidiary combinations.

     • Social Studies : Any two out of History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science studied for 3 years/6 semesters, out of which one must be either History or Geography.

• Desirable Qualifications : Experience of working in a school, knowledge of computer applications, and working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

7. Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) / BCA / B.E. or B.Tech. (Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering) with at least 50% marks; OR 'A' Level from 'DOEACC'/MeitY with at least 50% marks and graduation in any subject.

  2. B.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE recognized Institution/University.

• Desirable Qualifications : Working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha, and experience of working in a school.

8. Trained Graduate Teachers (Physical & Health Education - Male & Female)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Four-year integrated course or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education / Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (B.P.Ed.) from an NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks; OR Graduation and B.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks separately.

• Desirable Qualifications : Represented at least State at National Level in sports/games recognized by SAI/federation; working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha; school work experience; and Diploma from a National Institution of Sports.

9. Trained Graduate Teacher (Art Education)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years   

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor's degree in Drawing and Painting / Sculpture / Graphic Art / Fine Arts with at least 50% marks, provided Drawing and Painting was studied as a main subject in all years.

  2. B.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE recognized Institution/University.

• Desirable Qualifications : Working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha, experience of working in a school, and working knowledge of computers.

10. Librarian

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science from a recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks.

  2. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

• Desirable Qualifications : Working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

11. Primary Teacher (PRT)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary/Intermediate ($10+2$) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.); OR 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); OR 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from RCI.

  2. Qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-I) conducted by CBSE.

• Desirable Qualifications : Knowledge of working on a computer, and working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

12. Primary Teacher (Music)

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary/Intermediate (Class XII) with 50% marks from a recognized board.

  2. Bachelor's Degree in Music/Performing Arts from a recognized Institution/University, with music studied as a main subject in all years of the degree (Diplomas in music are not eligible).

13. Balvatika Teacher

• Upper Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

• Essential Qualifications :

  1. Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with at least 50% marks and English as a subject at the +2 level.

  2. Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Care and Education (D.E.C.Ed.) of not less than 2 years duration, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from an NCTE recognized Institution/University.

• Desirable Qualifications : Knowledge of computer applications, and working knowledge of English and Hindi/Bhartiya Bhasha.

How to Apply?

• 1. Visit the Official Portal : Access the online application portal of AEES at [https://aees.onlineregistrationforms.com](https://aees.onlineregistrationforms.com) during the application window.

• 2. Ensure Valid Credentials : Make sure you have a valid personal email ID and mobile number active before starting the registration process.   

• 3. Complete Online Registration : Register on the portal by entering your correct personal particulars such as name, parents' name, date of birth, caste, and gender as recorded in your Class X certificate.

• 4. Select the Desired Post(s) : Choose the post(s) you wish to apply for from the drop-down menu, keeping in mind that candidates can only apply for one subject/post within PGTs and TGTs regardless of multiple qualifications.

• 5. Upload Scanned Documents : Upload scanned copies of your recent color photograph, signature, Class X proof of date of birth, reservation certificates (if applicable), educational mark sheets, degree certificates, and other required documents using a proper scanner.

• 6. Pay Application and Processing Fees : Pay the prescribed application fee (if applicable) and processing fee of Rs. 250 online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking via the integrated payment gateway.

• 7. Generate Confirmation Page : Verify all entered details carefully, complete all application steps, and ensure you generate and print out the confirmation page for future reference.

Selection Process

1. Selection Stages for Principal & Vice-Principal

• Step 1 : Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • Consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 150 marks, split across general competencies, educational perspectives, and administrative/financial management.

  • Duration : 2 hours and 30 minutes (No negative marking).

• Step 2 : Interview

  • Candidates who qualify in the CBT are shortlisted for an interview based on merit.

  • Shortlisting threshold : UR/EWS candidates must score 60% or above, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) must score 54% or above in the CBT.

• Step 3 : Final Empanelment

  • Final selection is based on a 50:50 weightage split between CBT and Interview scores, provided candidates achieve the minimum qualifying marks in both sections separately.

2. Selection Stages for PGTs, TGTs, Librarian, PRTs, PRT (Music), and Balvatika Teacher

• Step 1 : Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • Consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 120 marks covering general awareness, computer literacy, teaching methodology, and 75 questions from the concerned subject.

  • Duration : 2 hours (No negative marking).

• Step 2 : Skill Test

  • Candidates are shortlisted from the CBT based on merit ratios (e.g., 5 times the vacancies for reserved posts; varying ratios for UR posts).   

  • Shortlisting threshold : UR/EWS candidates require 60%+ in CBT; SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates require 54%+.

  • The skill test is a chalk-and-board teaching demonstration conducted on a "Go / No Go" (qualifying) basis. Only candidates graded "Go" are considered further.

• Step 3 : Final Empanelment

  • Final selection and empanelment are determined solely by the candidate's merit rank based on marks secured in the CBT, provided they pass the "Go" skill test.

3. Common Final Steps (All Posts)

• Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates must present original certificates matching their online applications.

• Medical Examination : Selected candidates undergo a mandatory medical fitness assessment to ensure good mental and physical health.
