Kangana Ranaut has compared Ranveer Singh's criticism to the difficulties she suffered in her own career, claiming that she has already experienced media ban, legal disputes, and far harsher scrutiny. Her comments came on the situation surrounding Ranveer Singh's abrupt departure from Farhan Akhtar's Don 3 and the non-cooperation directive issued by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).
Kangana Ranaut was questioned about her support for Ranveer Singh and her statement that an individual's enemies grow in stature in a recent interview with Fever FM.
Kangana Ranaut Says She Was First One To Be Banned
Kangana Ranaut claimed that she was one of the first people in Bollywood to encounter such targeted criticism, including attempts to have her arrested through the legal system. "I was the first one to be banned by...you know what? They put cases on me. They tried to frame me legally. Also, they tried to put me in jail," she said.
Kangana Ranaut remembered a time when her days were devoted to court proceedings. Court dates stacked up endlessly, and her lawyer was always busy with court appearances. She said the media excluded her, in addition to the legal issues.
Actress-politician characterised it as a concerted effort rather than a single critique. She described the incident as part of a larger trend in which the press and film business collaborated against anyone who did not conform, without mentioning any specific people or media publication.

For those who are unaware, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh after his alleged sudden departure from Don 3, which sparked the uproar. Ashoke Pandit later stated that FWICE had merely issued a temporary non-cooperation directive and not an official ban in response to criticism and extensive reportage that referred to the action as a 'ban'.
Speaking to ETimes, Ashoke Pandit said, "See, first of all, the entire conversation has become wrong. It's not a ban. See, we are not the court; we can't ban people. So we have issued a non-cooperation. Non-cooperation means all our members who belong to 30 crafts will not work with him."
'Mein Toh Guru Hoon': Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut spoke with a certain lightness despite the gravity of her assertions. "Main toh guru hoon," she replied, chuckling as she described herself as a veteran of similar encounters. "So now woh mujhe toh abhi yeh sab bachchon ka khel lagta hai," she said, alluding to the criticism that prominent public people frequently encounter.
