Sai Pallavi’s Krishna bhajan on Kaun Banega Crorepati leaves audience mesmerised ahead of Ramayana release

The cast of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravie Dubey, recently appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati to promote the upcoming film ahead of its Diwali release. One of the standout moments from the special episode was Sai Pallavi’s soulful rendition of a Sanskrit Krishna bhajan, which left the audience mesmerised.

Sai Pallavi, who essays the role of Sita in the mythological epic, sang the bhajan titled “Mandasmitha Mukha” during the show.

Sony TV shared a glimpse of her performance on Instagram on Thursday, giving fans a preview of the special episode featuring the film’s lead cast.

The channel captioned the video, “Bhajan ki madhur dhun, dil ko chhoo gayi!! Dekhiye Diwali special episode Ramayana ki cast ke sath, Aaj raat 9 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision aur Sony LIV par.”

The special episodes featuring the Ramayana cast are scheduled to air on October 29 and

30.

Alongside Sai Pallavi’s musical performance, another promo from the show has caught viewers’ attention, this time for a heartwarming moment involving Amitabh Bachchan. In the clip, the veteran actor is seen offering water to Sai Pallavi and gently telling her, “Baithe rahiye.”

Touched by the gesture, Sai Pallavi appears surprised and exchanges a nervous glance with Ranbir Kapoor. She then becomes emotional, gets up from her seat and embraces Amitabh Bachchan.

Sony TV shared the moment on social media with the caption, “Ek chhota sa gesture, dher saara pyaar.”

The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The ensemble cast also includes Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor and Kajal Aggarwal, among others.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana: Part One is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and English.
