Pay Scale Details
A stipend of Rs.11040/- (Rupees eleven thousand and fourty only) per month if you had undergone 2 years of ITI Training course and Rs. 10560/- (Rupees ten thousand five hundred and sixty only) per month if you had undergone 1 year of ITI training course as per Gazette Notification (No. G.S.R. 610 (E) dated 03-09-2025) on Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2025 issued by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and rules applicable from time to time.
How to Apply?
Portal Registration : Register on the web portal `[https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in](https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in)` to obtain a unique registration number (e.g., AXXXXXXXXXX). Mandatory e-KYC : Complete your AADHAR (e-KYC) verification on the portal and note down the registered mobile number and e-mail ID. Document Preparation : Keep scanned PDF copies of your caste/disability/EWS certificate, and your 8th/10th mark sheet, ITI trade certificate (NCVT/SCVT), semester-wise mark sheets, and consolidated mark sheet merged into a single PDF. Online Application : Visit the IGCAR website at `www.igcar.gov.in` between 20/07/2026 and 19/08/2026, navigate to the "Opportunities -> Recruitment" tab, and submit your application online.
Selection Process
ITI Certificate Possession : Candidates must possess an ITI certificate in the respective trade as mentioned in the table. Shortlisting Based on ITI Marks : Candidates will be shortlisted for training based on the percentage of marks obtained in their ITI course. Tie-Breaking Rule (1) : In case of a tie in ITI marks, candidates with a higher percentage in the 10th or 8th standard will be placed higher on the merit list (8th class only for Welder, Carpenter/Wood Work Technician, Mason/Civil Mistry, and Plumber). Tie-Breaking Rule (2) : If there is still a tie in the 10th or 8th standard marks, the candidate born earlier (higher age) will be considered. Website Publication of Selected List : The selected list for each trade will be published on the IGCAR website (`www.igcar.gov.in`) under the `Opportunities -> Recruitment` tab. Mandatory Document Verification : All shortlisted candidates are required to appear for Document Verification, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
