PM Modi Flags Off Two Vande Bharat Express Trains From Katra To Srinagar | Check Routes, Timings
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the world’s highest railway bridge – Chenab Bridge – in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi on Friday and also flagged off two pairs of Vande Bharat Express trains in a major infrastructure push in the region.
The trains will run on the Srinagar–Katra–Srinagar route with intermediate stops at Banihal, according to the officials.
Train numbers of the Vande Bharat trains in Kashmir are 26404/26403 and 26401/26402, which will commence their operations on June 7. The train numbers 26404/26403 will run six days a week, except Wednesdays, while the train numbers 26401/26402 will run all days, except Tuesdays.
The fare for the Katra-Srinagar route will be Rs 715 for chair car and Rs 1,350 for executive class, according to the reports.

Train Nos. 26404/26403 (Srinagar – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Srinagar):
Commencement Date: June 7, 2025
Frequency: Six days a week (except Wednesday)
Route & Timings: Train No. 26404: Departs Srinagar at 08:00 am, Banihal at 09:02 am, and arrives at Katra at 10:58 am.
Train No. 26403: Departs Katra at 2:55 pm, Banihal at 4:40 pm, and arrives at Srinagar at 5:53 pm.
Train Nos. 26401/26402 (Katra – Srinagar – Katra):
Commencement Date: June 7, 2025
Frequency: Six days a week (except Tuesday)
Route & Timings: Train No. 26401: Departs Katra at 08:10 am, Banihal at 09:58 am, and arrives at Srinagar at 11:08 am.
Train No. 26402: Departs Srinagar at 2:00 pm, Banihal at 3:10 pm, and arrives at Katra at 4:58 pm.
