DSSSB Librarian Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for DSSSB Librarian Recruitment 2025 consists of the following stages:

1. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test):

  • The written exam is objective, consisting of 200 questions divided into four sections:
  • General Aptitude (50 questions, 50 marks)
  • General Knowledge (50 questions, 50 marks)
  • English Language (50 questions, 50 marks)
  • Library Science (50 questions, 50 marks)
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Duration:
  • General Candidates: 120 minutes
  • PwBD Candidates: 160 minutes
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

2. Merit List: Based on the written exam scores, a merit list is prepared. Candidates must secure the following minimum qualifying marks:

  • General Category: 50%
  • Reserved Categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, ESM): 45%

3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the merit list will be called for document verification. This step involves checking eligibility criteria like age, educational qualifications, and reservation claims.

4. Final Selection:

  • The final selection is made based on the merit-cum-preference of candidates.
  • Preferences for posts in District and Family Courts will be taken during the e-dossier submission.
