Mohsin Akhtar Mir, Urmila Matondkar’s former husband, has shared pictures from his wedding reception with Nidhaa Bhatt, months after the couple got married. The businessman and model also posted a romantic note for his wife, calling her his “home” and “peace”.
Mohsin had announced his wedding with Nidhaa in June this year by sharing pictures from the ceremony. He has now given fans another glimpse of the celebrations, along with a heartfelt message about his new marriage.
Sharing pictures from the reception, Mohsin wrote, “You didn’t just become my wife.You became my home, my peace, and my favorite part of every day. I’m grateful to God for bringing you into my life, and I promise to cherish you, stand by you, and love you through every chapter of our journey. Mohsin’s Wedding Note Had Mentioned Allah’s ‘Script’
Mohsin had also shared a personal note when he first announced his wedding to Nidhaa. The message spoke about faith, patience and trusting God’s plan. “Pure intentions, honest love, and a heart full of sabr and shukur. Mohsin And Urmila Matondkar Marriage
Before his marriage to Nidhaa, Mohsin was married to actor Urmila Matondkar. The couple tied the knot on February 4, 2016, in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. Their marriage had attracted attention at the time because of their interfaith relationship and their age difference. Mohsin, a Kashmiri businessman and model, was around 10 years younger than Urmila.
The couple reportedly met at the wedding of designer Manish Malhotra’s niece in 2014. Their relationship developed after that, and they eventually got married in a private ceremony. Manish Malhotra was among the few celebrities present at their wedding celebrations. After eight years of marriage, reports in 2024 confirmed that Urmila filed for divorce from Mohsin Akhtar Mir.
