This comes just hours after U.S. forces seized another oil tanker linked to Iranian smuggling operations in the Indian Ocean, further escalating the standoff with Tehran. Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces reportedly attacked multiple cargo ships in the straight, seizing 2 vessels. Iran 's judiciary chief Golem Hussein Mohseni Ajay praise the show of force morning that Iran is fully prepared to enforce its control over the region. Talks between the US and Iran, expected to take place in Islamabad, have yet to materialize. Iran says it won't come to the table unless the US lifts its blockade on Iranian ports. The US says it won't negotiate unless Iran guarantees free passage through the Strait of Hormuz. But now what I'm doing, I don't, I can't tell you that I don't want to put that kind of a timetable on it. But it'll go pretty quickly and we'll have the straight opened up. Now. Right now we have it closed. We have total control of the straight. And the fact that it's closed, you know, they would have opened it up 3 days ago. They came to us and they said we will agree to open the straight. And all my people are happy. Everybody was happy except me. I said, wait a minute. You know who's under time pressure? They are. Because if they don't get their oil moving, their whole oil infrastructure is going to explode. You know what that means?
