Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary clears floor test, NDA government proves majority in assembly

Bihar politics has taken a decisive turn today. Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has successfully cleared the floor test in the state assembly, firmly establishing the BJP led NDA government in a major political development. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhury has won the vote of confidence in the assembly, proving his majority on the floor of the House. The trust vote was passed by vice vote with the NDA comfortably ahead in numbers. The ruling alliance comprising the BJPJDULJP, Ramvilas, HAM and other partners holds a strong majority in the 243 member assembly, well above the required mark. The opposition did not press for a formal division of votes, allowing the motion to pass smoothly. This flow test was seen as the first major political test for Samrat Chowdhley, who recently took oath as Chief Minister after a significant leadership shift within the NDA in Bihar. With this victory, the new government has now secured formal legitimacy and stability in the Assembly. The session, however, was not without confrontation. The House witnessed sharp exchanges between the ruling alliance and the opposition, particularly between Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhury and RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav. Tejaswi Yadav launched a strong attack on the government, questioning the leadership change and accusing the NDA of political opportunism. Adhyaksh Maude kisi bhee sarkaar ko vikas Karya ke liye stability chaahiye hoti hai. Lekin ye ajuba state hai. Bihar Ki Jahan paanch saal Mein ye paanchvin sarkaar gathan Hui hai kahin bhee desh Mein apne dekha hoga Ki paanch saal Mein paanch sarkaar ismein bhee mahod Bihar sarkaar ko aur khastaur per NDA ko Jo ikhis saal se Raj karne ke baad bhee yeh nomat apari Ki paanch saal Mein paanch sarkaar banani pad rahi hai. Maude ye Asher Ki baat hai. Mahode Ki bhaai aakhir aisi naubat bar bar kyon AA paati hai Aur hum toh bhaai samrat chaudhury ko dil se dhanyavad dena chaahenge Ki bhaai. Selected CM, elected CM ko Jo hai. Selected CM ne apne sankalp Jo liya tha apne apna sankalp Jo hai poora kiya aur hum logon toh Khushi Ki baat hai Ki bhaai ye toh lalu Ji ke path chalake Hain ISS mukhyamantri bane toh isase achchhi baat hamlog ke liye kya ho sakti hai toh mahde elected CM ko Selected CM ne hataya AB mahde chaahe bhale pagadi pahle utar liye ho mundan karaniya Hoon alag baat ho lekin hum toh bhaai samrat chaudhury ko kahenge Ki bhaai Jo apne Jo pagadi Jo utaar ke kahe bhee rakhi hai. Us pagadi ko sambhal karke rakhiega us sambhal ke rakhega dekhiye Vijay sinaji ka usape nazar hai ekdam sambhal ke rakhiye. Responding to the criticism, Shamrat Chaudhry defended his position, stating that leadership in Bihar is determined by the mandate of the people and not by entitlement. Chaudhury also highlighted the Ndas governance track record, crediting former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for years of administrative stability and development. He emphasised that his government would continue policies focused on governance, infrastructure, women's empowerment, and job creation, while also aiming to accelerate growth in the state. Bar mahine kahaa nitish Ji nahi hote toh Lalu Ji mukhyamantri hote kya Lalu Ji ko bhee mukhyamantri Nitish Kumar Ji ne banaya yeh aapko jankari hona chaahiye yahaan baithe barish saathi in logon se miliega aapko Pata chal jaayega aur koi kisi ke pathshala se nahi hota hai Mein toh kahaa Ki meri rajniti Mein Lalu Yadav Ji katiya chaar nahi hota toh bhaai Bihar ka mukhyamantri nahi ban paata nahi toh jail nahi jaata nalish rajnit Mein aata. On the other hand, the opposition raised concerns about Bihars financial condition and governance model. Tejaswi Yadav questioned the governments ability to deliver on employment and development promises, alleging gaps in economic management. Despite these criticisms, the numerical strength of the NDA ensured that the outcome of the flow test was largely expected. This victory carries significant political importance. It marks a crucial moment for the BJP in Bihar, with the party taking a more prominent leadership role in the state government. It also signals continuity within the NDA alliance despite internal changes and gives Samrat Choudhury a strong start to his tenure as chief Minister. With the flow test now cleared, the focus shifts to governance and delivery. All eyes will be on how Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary navigates political challenges, manages alliance dynamics and delivers on key promises.
